At the 2023 Michigan Interoperability Conference in Muskegon Tim Crane of Fenton, WM8A, was recognized as the State of Michigan’s AUXCOMM Volunteer of Year. The annual conference is hosted by the Michigan Public Safety Communications System (MPSCS) and the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division of the Michigan State Police. The award has been given out since 2018 in addition to the Interoperable Communications “Individual of the Year”
